Performance Evidence: What Can Actually Be Claimed

The Blade 14 review links exact-configuration native results for the Ryzen AI 9 365 and RTX 5070 machine. Those rows help explain its own resolution tradeoffs, but there is no equivalently controlled GA403UP-CS96 dataset here. The published G14 rows from GU405AR use a Core Ultra 9 386H and RTX 5070 Ti; that evidence does not apply to this Ryzen 9 270 and RTX 5070 retail SKU.

Even the 115W and 90W labels are maximum published GPU power figures, not measurements of sustained clocks, cooling or game performance. A reliable FPS verdict needs the same BIOS, drivers, power mode, game version, resolution, preset and rendering mode on both exact units.

Display and Portability

Both catalog records specify a 14-inch 2880×1800 OLED panel at 120Hz and soldered 32GB memory. The G14 is listed 60g lighter and has 1Wh more battery capacity. Its 1100-nit and HDR True Black 600 labels and the Blade's 400-nit and HDR labels are published specifications, not matched lab measurements; they should not be read as a controlled brightness comparison.

Price and Availability

The Blade has a direct Amazon product page and the G14 uses ASUS official availability page; stock and checkout price can change. Each catalog reference price is not a live checkout price and is excluded from the verdict. Confirm the model code, CPU, RTX 5070, 32GB memory and seller on the final order screen.

Choose the Blade 14 if...

You value its CNC construction and want the configuration with an attributable native-game dataset already linked from the review. Its soldered memory and 8GB VRAM still need to fit your use.

Choose the Zephyrus G14 if...

You prefer the slightly lighter published weight, 73Wh battery and ASUS display specification package, while accepting that this exact retail SKU remains unranked until matched testing exists.
